POTTERY CLAY
I personally make and mix my own clay to model my work in the kneading machine. I use sedimentary clays of various origins with raw colours ranging from grey-brown to raw sienna, which become reddish coloured after baking. I usually coat my work with homemade raw colours. Clay is baked at about 990º in an electric oven for 10/12 hours. I realize sculptures in the round: reliefs, including high reliefs, mid-reliefs and bas-reliefs. I assemble sculptures using various materials, iron, bronze, wood and stones. I also make everyday implements using glazed ceramic. Potteries are available upon request and made for our own needs.
